This has been a long week. Jackson finally seems to be doing better. That is way good. I think our Superhero series at Reality Check may go really well. Wednesday night was good, I think. We are talking about things that only Jesus could do and we talked first about how He is the only person who could forgive sin. Then we talked about the steps it takes to get there.

Next week we are going to talk about how only Jesus could die for the entire world. I am psyched about it. This weeks memory verse goes well with that. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 Jesus; sacrifice is THE gift. I can't wait to talk about that.

Sunday is the vote at church as to whether or not I become the permanent Student Minister. I really feel like God is leading us this way. I pray that I am listening to the Voice of Truth in all of this. Things seem to be coming together well with the house too. I pray that all continues to go well.

Here are some pictures to prove the boy is on the mend. He hasn't looked this good all week!

Today has been interesting. Jackson is very sick. We took him to the ER last night and they perscribed some things. We know he has a nasty ear infection but he has been puking and had diahrehea really bad since Sunday. He is staying hydrated. That is good. I just wish I knew what was wrong. He slept most of the day today. He has been so lethargic and just wants to sleep in our arms all the time. So not him. I am the worrying parent so please pray for him. And me.

I thought Reality Check went well tonight. i am excited about this series. I think God has some great things in store. We are in the beginning of a series called Superhero: Three Things Only Jesus Could Do. Tonight it was forgive sin. I think the students were very attentive. I hope that God moved there tonight.

Tomorrow is back to school. I feel very disjointed from it all. We will see how it goes!
